Social Care – recruitment drive

HCL has launched a recruitment drive in its social care division, which includes Bluecare, a UK social care staffing company.

To meet rising client demand, HCL is looking for around 30 specialist recruitment consultants for its London office and 10 for its office in Skipton, North Yorkshire. Mark Staniland, Managing Director of HCL’s social care division, says: “Our business continues to thrive and we have not experienced the adverse effects of recession that have been seen in the general recruitment sector. Demand is driven by the chronic shortage of social care professionals in the UK, with the vacancy rate as high as 30% in some areas of London.”

Mark added, “We are impressed by the number and quality of applications we have so far received, and we look forward to working with our expanded team to continue delivering a great service to our clients, and gain marketshare.”
